"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest."  (John 4:35)

caring basket ministry

Our goal with our caring baskets is to reach those who are living without the Lord in their life, and to let them know we care and are praying for them.  We know at some point in time and maybe even right now, we all have needed to know that someone cared and was praying for us.

Our basket contains several things that will point them to Christ in some way.  Some of these items are: a Bible, Books, Candles, Candy, Bookmark, and various other items as we are always adding something different.

The following comes from a bookmark that we placed in each basket:caring basket ministry

This basket holds these things, just as the Lord holds you and I.
The soap cleans our body and the Lord cleans our heart.
This candle lights up a dark room, and the Lord lights up our life.
The candy is good and is to remind us that the Lord is good.
The cup of tea is a reminder, to spend time quietly with God.
The BIBLE--God's Word to us.

In the times spent quietly with God & His Word, we see He holds us together, cleanses our sins, lights up our life &He is good to each & everyone of us.

Welcome Committee

(a branch of Caring Baskets)

Every new visitor to our church is welcomed by our "Welcome Committee."  We, as a church realize that coming into a new place, with new faces is often not an easy thing to do.  We want to take that extra step to make each person feel at home.  That is how this project got started.

We hand out a bookmark, pen (with church info) and other different items.  Also, we ask that each new visitor fill out a card, just simply asking, their name and address so that the church can stay in contact with them.

Our goal with both of these ministries is to share God's love with others, and to let people know that God cares for them and we here at Campbell Chapel do too!!!  Each basket, most importantly, includes our love & prayers, and each new visitor will leave here knowing we are praying for them.  We love love them and we care for them!

As each day draws to a close

and you settle down to sleep.

Please know:  You have been in our

thoughts throughout the day and now,

as we too end our day, we offer you up

once more to God.  And when tomorrow

comes, our prayers will continue to be with you!

Love & Prayers,

Campbell Chapel
